Book Summary
-Chapter 1
Diana and Eric, a lovely couple, were receiving their
friends. Two others couple; Robert and Anne, Pascale and John. They were close
friends and favorite companions for over many years. They always had been on a
close relationship as good friend are. The friends took the dinner together
while having a great times each other. Pascale, a French woman who came from
France, love her natal country. Once in the night, she proposed them the idea
of making a trip in St-Tropez. Anne went already there with her kids and they
loved it. So, the three couples voted in favor of going on a trip to St-Tropez.
They were unanimous, a trip in St-Tropez next summer in august was decided.
After, they celebrate the New Year.
-Chapter 2
It began by a dinner at Pascale’s apartment. Then,
Robert hear some noise in him bathroom that was too strange, at four o’clock of
the morning. He went in and discovered Anne. He checked her pulse and he
couldn’t feel it. Robert called the ambulance in a terrified humor. On the road
to the hospital, he called his friends and the member’s family to tell them to
tragic situation. All of these supported him while he was waiting for fresh
news. The staffs was working on Anne but didn’t succeeded to save life’s Anne. It
was just after seven o’clock when the head cardiologist came to tell them that
the lady had a massive heart attack, without regaining consciousness. They
understood the verdict. After, the friends were wondering about the trip in
St-Tropez but they decided to do not cancel the trip because Robert will need a
kind of rehabilitation after the events. Everybody was crying.
-Chapter 3
All kind of relation close to Robert and Anne were
assisting to the funeral. The ceremony was brief and highly emotive. The two
other couples were comforting Robert who looked change by the incident. Robert
was asleep; the Anne’s death had been the purpose of it. The friends talked to
him of St-Tropez but his answer of the moment was negative. He didn’t want to
come yet .By him; it would remind him too much his wife.
-Chapter 4
The group saw Robert often for the next three months.
Robert couldn’t sleep the night but his humor turn to the best. Diana wanted
him to come in St-Tropez but the business man was saying that he was too busy.
Well, that’s the reason of Robert. Also, Diana saw him with another girl at the
restaurant but they looked like friend. Pascale and Anne tried to convince him
to change his mind on his St-Tropez decision and gave them the mission to make
whatever possible to bring him in France. Finally, the girls didn’t like the
lady of the restaurant and told their fear to Robert. The lady is a movie star.
-Chapter 5
The last dinner the couples shared with Robert was in
June and Robert reconsidered the suggestion of going to the trip because he
would love to bring her daughter Mandy. Mandy was 23 years old. Pascale was in
France earlier than his friends to saw her family. Furthermore, she went to the
house that they have rented before. The domicile didn’t look at all like it was
supposed to be. On the photos, it was much better than in the reality. A woman
named Agathe was on place and tried to solve the problem by saying to Pascale
the number’s manager. The house was grim and it was qualify by the French like
a disgrace. Pascale talked to the owner of the house for half an hour blaming
him and promised to sue him if the house won’t be clean up. He accepted to send
a cleaner team the next morning.
-Chapter 6
Pascale woke up at six o’clock the first day for
cleaning the mess with the team. She worked all day long until eight o’clock
with them. They had made an excellent job and the day after, they worked harder
than before. Their efforts were incredible and massive. The house now looked
great and Pascale was ready to saw her friends that soon arrived. The next day,
at five their plane was landing on the Europe continent. On his side John had
flown with the Morrison. The three arrivants loved the house at first sight and
thanked Pascale for her job. Anne missed them; she was a good friend for all.
Pascale found Diana worried and asked her what was going wrong. She avoided
that her husband had cheated on her with a thirty years old woman. She felt
disappointed and angry about the act. Their relation was turning to a disaster
and Eric told her to wait until the end of the trip before making the point of
it. John and Pascale were making adult
sport in their new bedroom while the twenty two years old relationship of Diane
was almost dead.
-Chapter 7
The first morning of the trip looked like a dream.
John went to the sailboat and get all the information needed. He and her wife
made a tour on it and loved it a lot. Eric seemed to make an effort to be kind
full with Diana trying to forgive his mistake. Diana figured to fix their
problem. Robert arrived that morning with Mandy and the youth didn’t like the
house that much because she found not enough comfortable. She thought a while
to leave it but reconsider her mind. After, Robert announced that her friend,
Gwen Thomas the famous actress, was going to arrive further. The female visitor
didn’t receive the approbation of all, especially Diana and Pascale, who was
judging the woman. They thought she wasn’t a help to Robert and they don’t
wanted her to take Anne’s place.
-Chapter 8
Gwen arrived at lunch time with her car. She looked
natural, cute and she was well dressed. All along the day, she presented her
personality on several aspects. Although, Diana and Pascale were both having
judgements about who and what she was. They tried to honore Anne’s memory by
judging her like a Hollywood monster. The actress already knows how to handle those
situations because they were frequents and didn’t care, showing the best of
her. Mrs Thomas and Robert had a lot of fun together, they were good friend.
Gwen proposed to the group a free tour in a private yatch, owned by famous
people who knew her. Her gift astonished everybody and some get happier than
others who were suspicious. Robert remarked it but didn’t mind and he finished
the night dancing with Gwen in a bar. He really liked that moment of pure
pleasure, as they rest until 3 o’clock of the morning. None of them were ready
for something else and Robert wasn’t forgetting Anne.
-Chapter 9
Gwen and Robert discussed about the last relationship
of Gwen. She left her boyfriend after taking him on her bed with her best
friend. That was a very serious affair. She never forgave him that move and
stopped to talk to him. Gwen’s boyfriend finally killed himself with a gun.
Gwen said to Robert that she felt extremely guilty about it and she should have
forgiven him beside of being revolted forever. After, Robert told her his
feeling about death’s Anne. She answered him to take the time that he obviously
needs. She made herself vulnerable with him and had been honest so he kissed
her and his feelings was only positives one. Robert wanted to make it clear for
their friends. In bold defiance to them, he wanted them to respect the change
in him. Finally, they were going on the boat named ‘Talitha G’ for the rest of
the day.
-Chapter 10
The group spent their day on Talitha G with famous
actors. They all liked each other and had a super relaxing funny time. An
actress was topless on the Yatch and the guy found it interesting. Diana and
Pascale saw Gwen with a new fresh view because of the really good time passed
with her. Robert and Gwen were relaxed and happy. Once came back to the house,
Robert dreamed of Anne and Gwen. His dream was troubling. Diana and Eric had
another discuss about their relation. It seems bad for them. In the day, Diana
and Pascal went shopping while Robert and Eric were requesting information on
the sail boat. John stayed at home with Gwen who didn’t go out for wrote some
postcards. He suddenly stopped talking to his phone because a little cut of
sausage chocked him. He almost died but Gwen made him the helmich method and
saved him. He was turning to blue. When the other gets back, they learn the new
and became extremely kind full with Gwen. The place was now lively and they
smiled peacefully.
-Chapter 11
Diana told Gwen the purpose of her situation with Eric
and Gwen decided to speak to her. She exposed her case with the last boyfriend
that committed a suicide and emotively touched Diana. She also told her to
forgive Eric of what he made and not cutting off her nose to spite her face.
Diana took the precious advice. After, John talked to Pascale of Robert’s new
relationship. He saw her positively but Pascal didn’t. ¨They are only having
fun together and they loved each other that are the important¨ John related to
her wife. Pascale changed her mind and remained their relation now positive.
Diana spoke to Eric with a fresh attitude and Eric admitted he always love her.
She promised him to forgive him his last affair. They now loved themselves and
Diana laughed to his jokes. Robert and Gwen stayed and came back late that
night at Gorilla’s bar. Robert asked her for sleeping in his bed and she
accepted. They kissed themselves and slept close together.
-Chapter 12
John took Pascale to the doctor because she had a stomach
bug. She said, after the end of the appointment, that they will call her back
after analysing her blood results. Pascale made the dinner for all. John
admitted he likes France. They ate lobsters for their last dinner and many
revelations have been exposed. Pascale said slowly to her husband that she was
pregnant, they were having a baby and that was why she had ¨the stomach bug¨.
They all hugged and kissed her. Then, Diana announced they are stayed married.
Their trip had lighting their love up. Furthermore, Robert shared to the group
that he and Gwen will be marrying in May or June, next spring. Their new
friend, Gwen, was finally the greatest help for the group. As the sun set shine
on over St-Tropez, the three couples were all in love and happy about the
conclusion of St-Tropez’s miracle.
